  • Xin Jie, ME, got the Biolink Green Papaya soap for $4.50, which is a ripoff by the way since i found it for $3.50 in another shop but NEVERMIND. tsk tsk what an unphotogenic photo but of course i trust the papaya soap will do a good job at fixing my face.

  • Haha, in case some of you got the idea wrong, i doubt that the woman was cheating on her husband with a dark skinned man. Rather, she was actually naturally dark, but using Biolink Green Papaya soap lightened her skin so much that her husband thinks it’s natural.

Dark Baby is classic Philippine TV commercial shown on 2004 from Biolink which promotes the Biolink Green Papaya Soap. It is about a fair-skinned couple eagerly waiting to see their child. When the nurse handed them their baby, they were both surprised when they saw that their baby has a dark complexion. This gave the husband a confused look wondering if the baby is really his as well as an embarrassing look from the wife. The ad promotes the product's effectiveness in making skin naturally whiter.
