  • The statement that 1.8 PCF foams are always better than lower density foams is also an exaggeration of the true facts. Every manufacturer of foams will admit that it is just as easy to err when making a high density foam as it is when making a lower density foam. High density is not the total guarantor of good, in-use performing, durable foams. One must note the use of the words statistical probability and then understand that it is only probable that higher density foams will be more durable than low density foams. The magnitude of the degree of probability is not yet known, and, presently, only a statistical trend exists. The more accurate statement is then: it is highly probable that 1.8 PCF foams will soften less than foams of lower density.

High density rubber foam is a type of polyurethane foam that is composed of a large amount of open cells or bubbles that are packed tightly together. It can provide comfortable paddling for cushions, mattresses and other similar products. It’s very easily to gain the original shape shortly after any weight is lifted from the product.

  • The properties of memory foam, regardless of density, can provide certain pros and cons in regard to love making. Owner experience data suggests that lower density memory foam tends to be more suitable overall for love making than higher density foam, namely because lower density foam is easier to move on and has less of a "sinking in" feeling. See the for more information.

On the basis of application, spray polyurethane foam was classified as residential walls, residential roofing, commercial roofing and commercial walls. Residential roofing dominated the spray polyurethane foam application market in 2013 and the trend is expected to continue over the forecast period. Other niche spray polyurethane foam applications include transportation and medical equipment. Spray polyurethane foam can be segmented on the basis of type as open cell and closed cell. Both the cell together covered about 90% of the market and remaining 10% was contributed to one component foam and high density foam in 2013. Open cell spray polyurethane foam is spongy and low cost material majorly used for inner wall insulation and also provides sound resistance. Closed cell spray polyurethane foam is a dense material used as roofing insulation and provide better water vapor barrier. According to U.S. Department of Energy, most of the energy is lost through walls, windows and doors via air medium. Spray polyurethane foam insulation reduces the energy loss by 50% compared to other conventional insulation materials. Spray polyurethane foam also provides better water resistance that decreases mold formation on woods.

People under 120 pounds tend to not sink far into memory foam, especially higher density foam. This means that they may not benefit significantly from the contouring and molding properties of the foam, and they may experience excessive pressure points as a result.
