In the Flipping Out episode “Ready Set Glow,” Jeff Lewis is stressed out about potentially losing a longtime client and he and Gage are anxiously awaiting news from their surrogate Alexandra. Luckily, Jeff has found an outlet for his stress. He’s obsessed with watching a TV commercial for , plastic toy sharks that glow in the dark and in the bathtub. At the end of the commercial, with a fog horn kind of voice, kids lip sync “Glow Sharks.”
You folks surely know better than I do how much damage plastic debris and the burning of fossil fuels do to the health of the oceans. We can either have plastic toy sharks or real sharks, not both.
